Dutch publisher picks up rights to THE LAST NEANDERTHAL

Dutch rights to The Bear author Claire Cameron’s THE LAST NEANDERTHAL, which is based on the new science that has evolved in the 35 years since The Clan of the Cave Bear was published, and which follows the last family of Neanderthals through their final year of life until they meet the first homo sapiens, again to Melissa van der Wagt at Cargo/De Bezige Bij, by Marianne Schönbach on behalf of Denise Bukowski at The Bukowski Agency. Rights previously sold to Little, Brown (US) and Doubleday (Canada).
