World Spanish rights for THE LAST NEANDERTHAL to Maeva

World Spanish rights to The Bear author Claire Cameron’s THE LAST NEANDERTHAL, based on the new science that has evolved in the 37 years since publication of The Clan of the Cave Bear, have been sold at auction to Jean Auel’s publisher Maeva, by Julia Garrigós of The Foreign Office on behalf of Denise Bukowski at The Bukowski Agency.

Rights previously sold to Little, Brown (US), Doubleday (Canada), Cargo/De Bezige Bij (the Netherlands), SEM (Italy), and Forlaget Zara (Denmark), bringing the total number of territories to six. Underbidders were Planeta and Roca.
